Recipe: learn how to make our delicious Shrimp Piri Piri!


The Observer joined us "in the kitchen" last week and got their hands dirty! We shared our delicious Shrimp Piri Piri recipe for everyone to try and whip up at home. If you aren't the best cook, you can always join us in the restaurant and we will happily take care of the cooking for you.

• 1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined with tail on; pat dry
• 1/2 cup white wine
• splash of lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons softened butter

For marinade:
• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
Toss all together and marinate 4 to 5 hours.

In an extremely hot pan, salt and sear the shrimp. Flip them over and add marinade, white wine and lemon juice. Reduce sauce and swirl in soft butter.
