1986 Lunch and Dinner Menu - Limited Time Only

The 1986 Dinner

We started the Bijou Cafe in June 1986 as a small 50 seat restaurant in a downtown location that many people were hesitant to visit. Things changed dramatically over the years and we are now in the heart of a thriving and exciting urban center… and for that we are truly grateful!
 
In honor of that date 29 years ago and to thank our loyal Bijou family and friends we are offering our three course “Customer Appreciation Dinner Menu” all summer long for the “last century” price of only $32.86.

CHICKEN BREAST ZANZIBAR
with curried couscous, mango papaya salsa

STEAK HOUSE DINNER SALAD

A lighter portion of American-harvest shrimp, cayenne, garlic, lemon, served with
creamy South-African style grits

Baked custard, flavored with unique South-African Liqueur, under a crunchy caramelized topping
